Rice Challenge

In 2012-2013 we took on the 90 kg Rice Challenge. We managed to sell out which means we have sent one Malawian child to school for one year.
We had lots of exciting things happening on our Day of Action:
- Non-uniform day
- The Fairtrade Tuck Shop
- Fairtrade Assembly
- The annual Fairtrade Quiz
- Face Painting
- The Fairtrade Newsletter
As well as all the usual stuff we had a Rice Cafe. Families and friends of the school bought 1kg of our Fairtrade Malawian Rice and used this to cook a rice dish. We then shared some Fairtrade food and listened to Music provided by the Royal Conservatoir of Scotland.
